ScholarStack provides analytics at both the student and platform level. Professors can track individual and aggregate engagement; administrators can monitor AI usage and costs.
Student Analytics (Per Course)
- Resource views — which materials students opened and how long they spent reading
- Quiz performance — scores, attempt counts, and question-level breakdowns
- Assignment submissions — on-time rate and grade distribution
- Chat agent usage — session counts, message volume, and topics discussed
- Voice practice — sessions completed, scores, and rubric-level breakdowns
Individual Student View
Click any student from Dashboard → Students to see their complete learning profile: every resource viewed, every quiz attempt, every chat session, and progress over time. This view is ideal for office hours preparation and early-warning intervention.
AI Analytics (Admin Only)
Administrators can view AI usage and cost data at Dashboard → AI Analytics. See total spending by model, caller type, user, and request type. Track volume trends daily, weekly, or monthly to identify cost drivers.
Data Exports
Go to Dashboard → Exports to generate CSV reports of grades, activity logs, or course-level metrics. Exports are useful for uploading to your institution's grade book or LMS reporting tools.
Understanding the Dashboard Metrics
- Active Students — students who have logged in and interacted with at least one course feature in the selected date range
- Total Chat Messages — all messages sent by students to any AI agent in the course (includes both student and assistant messages)
- Average Session Length — mean duration of a single chat session (from first message to last message in a thread)
- Resource Interactions — number of times students opened or queried against uploaded resources
- Completion Rate — percentage of students who completed all published assignments and quizzes
