Audit Logs provide a complete record of all user actions in ScholarStack. Available to administrators from Dashboard → Audit Logs.
What's Logged
- Authentication events — login, logout, password reset
- Course and resource creation, modification, and deletion
- Chat agent configuration changes
- Student enrollment changes
- Quiz and assignment creation and grading actions
- Integration configuration changes
- Admin-level actions — role changes, account deactivation
Filtering Logs
Filter by date range, user, action type, or target entity to find relevant events quickly. Use the search bar for specific activities.
Exporting Logs
Export audit logs to CSV for compliance reporting. Each log entry includes timestamp, user identity, action description, and the affected entity. Logs are retained for a minimum of 12 months.
What the Audit Log Tracks
The audit log is a tamper-evident record of every significant action taken in your organization. It is designed to support security investigations, compliance audits, and dispute resolution. Events logged include:
- Authentication events: logins, logout, failed login attempts, password resets
- User management: invitations sent, roles changed, accounts deactivated, accounts deleted
- Course management: course created/archived/deleted, student enrolled/removed
- Content actions: resource uploaded/deleted, AI agent created/updated/deleted
