The Students section gives you visibility into who is enrolled in your courses and how they are engaging with the material.
Enrolling Students
- Go to Dashboard → Students.
- Click Add Students and enter email addresses, or click Import CSV for bulk enrollment.
- Each student receives an invitation email to join ScholarStack.
Viewing Student Activity
The Students list shows each student's enrollment status, last activity date, and course participation. Click any student to see their profile, courses, and activity history.
Student Performance by Course
Navigate to a specific student → course to see detailed analytics: quiz scores, assignment submissions, resource views, AI tutor interactions, and time-on-task. Useful for office hours preparation or early intervention.
Removing a Student
From the student's profile, use the three-dot menu to remove them from a specific course or from the organization entirely. Their historical data is preserved in audit logs.
Exporting Student Data
Go to Dashboard → Exports to generate CSV reports of grades, activity, or quiz performance for upload into your institution's grade book.
Enrollment Methods Compared
- Invite Link → simplest. Generate a shareable link for the course. Anyone with the link can enroll. Best for low-security environments. Expire or regenerate the link if it circulates too widely.
- Email Invitation → send direct invitations to specific email addresses. Students receive an email with a one-click enrollment link. Best when you have a roster and want to control exactly who is in the course.
- Canvas Import → if your institution uses Canvas LMS, import your roster automatically from the Canvas course. Students are enrolled with their institutional email. Keeps ScholarStack in sync with your official roster.
- Bulk CSV Upload → upload a CSV with student emails and names. Sends invitations in bulk. Good for large courses (100+) where individual invitations are impractical.
