Assignments may require you to submit text, a link, or a file. Read the assignment description carefully for instructions and the due date.
Finding Assignments
Go to your course and click Assignments. All assignments are listed with their due dates and current status: Not Started, In Progress, Submitted, or Graded.
Submitting Your Work
- Click the assignment to open it.
- Read the prompt and instructions thoroughly.
- Depending on the submission type: type your response in the text editor, paste a URL, or upload a file.
- Click Submit. You will see a confirmation screen.
After Submission
Once submitted, your response is locked. Your professor will review it and assign a grade. The grade and any written feedback appear in the assignment view once grading is complete.
Late Submissions
ScholarStack accepts submissions after the due date, but late submissions are flagged. Check your course syllabus for your professor's late submission policy.
Submission Types and How They Work
- Text Entry → type or paste directly into the submission box. Supports rich formatting (bold, lists, headers). Most common for short essays and reflections.
- File Upload → upload a Word document, PDF, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, or image. Max file size is 50MB per file; multiple files allowed.
- URL Submission → paste a link to an external resource (e.g., a Google Doc, portfolio site, or hosted project). Make sure sharing permissions are set to allow your professor to view the link.
- Discussion Post → type your response and optionally reply to classmates. Discussion posts are visible to the whole class unless the professor sets them to private.
